The KLEIN Scout® Pro 3 Tester Kit (KL-VDV501-852) is an extensive diagnostic package designed for large-scale installations. It locates and tests voice (RJ11/12), data (RJ45), and video (Coax F-connector) cables. Uniquely, this model features Power over Ethernet (PoE) testing, displaying PoE wire configuration and voltage information directly on the backlit LCD screen.
The kit is equipped with a massive set of remotes: 18 RJ45 LAN locator remotes and 18 F-coax locator remotes, plus a self-storing Test + Map™ remote. This allows professionals to identify up to 18 different drop locations for both data and video in a single pass.
It measures cable length up to 2,000 feet (610 m) using TDR technology and detects faults like Opens, Shorts, and Miswires. Additional features include Hub Blink mode, multiple-style tone generation, and voltage warning detection.
