The KLEIN CL800 Digital Clamp Meter is a versatile, automatically ranging True Root Mean Squared (TRMS) electrical tester designed for complex environments. Unlike standard clamp meters, the CL800 measures both AC and DC current (up to 600A) via the clamp, as well as AC/DC voltage (up to 1000V) via test leads. It also measures resistance, continuity, frequency, capacitance, tests diodes, and checks temperature with the included thermocouple probe.
Engineered for safety and accuracy, it features a Low Impedance (LoZ) mode to identify and eliminate ghost or stray voltages. The rugged design withstands a 6.6-foot (2 m) drop and boasts a CAT IV 600V / CAT III 1000V safety rating. The meter includes a backlit display for low-light conditions, a low battery indicator, and an auto-power off function.
