The KLEIN CL700 Digital Clamp Meter is a rugged, automatically ranging True Root Mean Squared (TRMS) tool designed for professional electricians. It accurately measures AC current (up to 600A) via the clamp, and measures AC/DC voltage (up to 1000V), resistance, continuity, frequency, capacitance, and tests diodes via test leads. Additionally, it includes a thermocouple probe for temperature measurements.
A standout feature is the Low Impedance (LoZ) mode, specifically designed to identify and eliminate ghost or stray voltages for safer, more accurate readings. Built to withstand harsh job site conditions, the CL700 features a CAT IV 600V / CAT III 1000V safety rating and is drop-tested up to 6.6 feet (2 m).
